The African Music Awards has known to be the deciding factor for best artistes in Africa,given annually to the outstanding artistes. MTV started it in 2008 and this year it was hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In the just concluded MTV AMA awards Nigerians picked up the top awards, Teckno, Wizkid,Patoranking and Yemi Alade picking the following awards
Someone like Emtee of South Africa won a major award of best Hip Hop artist sparing non-Nigerians the blushes.
The award night was on October 22 about 10hours ago.
